Assembler 80 - 100 %
In this role, your main responsibility is to assemble and test our implantable pump, catheters and accessories according to described procedures. The work is mainly carried out in our clean room and often under a microscope. It consist of multiple processes, including for example cleaning, cutting, gluing, potting, sealing, packaging, labeling, testing.
During an initial training period, you will be trained one-to-one by an experienced operator on several manufacturing processes to familiarize first-hand with our product, production tools and test systems. Over time, you will be able to assemble and test the products on your own, from a miniaturized pressure sensor up to the fully functional implantable device.
Key responsibilities:
• Mechanical assembly of the alfapump®, catheters and accessories according to described procedures
• Testing of subassemblies and finished goods according to described procedures
• Packaging and labeling of finished goods
• Create, track and receive manufacturing orders in the ERP system
• Document non-conformities in the Quality Management System
• Help to continuously improve the production processes and to maintain the process documentation accurate
Key requirements:
• Good understanding of demanding technical instructions in English
• Good eyesight and good manual skills
• Ability to deliver constant high quality of work also for repetitive tasks
• Very careful, independent and accurate way of working
• Familiar with personal computers and standard office software
• Able to work independently and in a team
Required education and professional experience:
• Completed basic education with emphasis on manual skills, for example as dental technician, horologist, goldsmith, laboratory assistant or similar
• Relevant professional experience in the mechanical assembly of small high-tech devices
• Experience to work with a microscope
• Experience in a highly regulated production environment, preferably in the MedTech industry, is a plus
